SKEET SPOT · HELP
Find your way back.
Need help with the app, or spotted information that needs correcting? Contact Manx Digital and mention Skeet Spot. Tell us your device, app version and what happened. A screenshot is useful, but hide any personal details first.
Reset the map
Tap the circular reset arrow to return to the opening 3D view. Close a place panel to return to the course, or use its back chevron to move up one level. Long-press the app’s menu button to replay the gesture tutorial.
Directions and location permission
Directions need an internet connection. You can search for a starting point without sharing your location. To enable current location on iPhone or iPad, open Settings, find Skeet Spot and check its Location permission. If a route cannot be found, try another starting point and check current road restrictions.
Routes are for planning, not live turn-by-turn navigation. Follow current signs, marshals and official instructions.
Using Skeet Spot offline
The core 3D map, course information and bundled guides work offline. News, route planning, postcode lookup, remote images and external links need connectivity.
Rain, performance and readability
Rain starts off each time you open the app. The helicopter control starts or ends a flyover. iOS text-size and Reduce Motion settings are supported. If the map becomes unresponsive, close and reopen the app and check for updates.
Correct a place or guide
Include the place name, the detail that needs correcting and an authoritative source if you have one. Venue availability, timetables and access can change. Check linked operators and official sources before travelling.
