- Skeet Spot is an independent guide, not an official race service or a booking provider.
- Check race organisers, transport operators and accommodation providers before booking or travelling.
- Maps and directions are for planning. Follow current road closures, signs and marshal instructions.
1. Who operates Skeet Spot
Skeet Spot is operated by Edan Edison, trading as Manx Digital, at 8 Kirby Hill, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM2 1PA. These terms apply to our website and native iPhone, iPad and Apple TV apps. Contact [email protected] or use our contact form with questions.
Please read these terms before using Skeet Spot. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. An independent guide
Skeet Spot helps you explore the Mountain Course, trackside places, news and visitor information. It is not the official Isle of Man TT service and is not endorsed by race organisers, teams, riders, transport operators or venues unless expressly stated.
Information, photos, distances, elevation, opening details, rider expectations and schedules may be approximate, incomplete or out of date. A listing, map marker or link does not guarantee access, availability, suitability, a race entry, or a particular experience. We take reasonable care with the service, but cannot guarantee that third-party information is always accurate or current.
3. Check before booking or travelling
Before booking tickets, ferries, flights, accommodation, hospitality or any other service, confirm dates, race sessions, road closures, check-in times, availability, prices, accessibility and cancellation terms directly with the relevant official source or provider. Check again close to departure and on the day; weather, incidents and operational decisions can change plans at short notice.
Allow time for travel, queues, road restrictions and delays. Keep your own booking confirmations and consider appropriate travel insurance. Skeet Spot cannot reserve places, guarantee connections or ensure that you arrive in time for a race.
Any booking or purchase made through an external website is an agreement between you and that provider. We do not take payment for, supply or manage those bookings, and their own terms, refunds and cancellation policies apply.
4. Maps, directions and spectator safety
The 3D map is a stylised representation with exaggerated terrain. Directions are a planning aid, not live turn-by-turn navigation or a statement that a road, path or viewing area is safe or open. Closure information and route restrictions can change faster than our data updates.
Follow official road closures, signs, police and marshal instructions, and venue rules. Never enter a closed course, restricted area or private land without permission. Do not use the map while driving or riding. A suggested trackside place is not permission to spectate there and does not replace a personal assessment of access, conditions and safety.
Skeet Spot is not an emergency service. For an emergency, call 999 or 112 and follow the operator’s instructions.
5. Availability and external content
Some features need an internet connection. Maps, route searches, news, images and external links may be unavailable or delayed because of maintenance, connectivity or provider changes. Keep another way to access essential travel and safety information.
We may update, replace or remove features and restrict access where reasonably needed for security, maintenance, unlawful use or legal requirements. Third-party sites and services are outside our control. A link is provided for convenience and is not a guarantee or endorsement.
6. Fair use and ownership
Use Skeet Spot lawfully and considerately. Do not send spam or abusive messages, impersonate someone, introduce malware, bypass security or request limits, or deliberately overload the service.
Skeet Spot’s software, branding and original content belong to Manx Digital or its licensors. Publisher stories, photographs and mapping data retain their credited owners and licences. You may use the service for your own planning and exploration; commercial reuse or redistribution needs permission unless the relevant licence or law allows it.
7. Contact and corrections
You can contact us about support, a correction, privacy or a general enquiry. Include enough detail to investigate, but do not send payment card details, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Sending a message does not create a booking, an emergency request or a guarantee of an immediate response.
You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you send. Reporting an error does not mean that we have verified or corrected it; continue to check official sources for decisions that matter.
8. Missed races, travel costs and liability
Skeet Spot does not promise that a race will run, that transport will depart or arrive as scheduled, or that accommodation, hospitality or a viewing area will be available. Subject to the protections below, we are not responsible for missed races, missed connections, cancelled or delayed travel, unavailable accommodation, lost booking payments or additional travel, ticket, hospitality or accommodation costs caused by third-party changes, events outside our reasonable control, or using Skeet Spot as a substitute for confirmation from the relevant official source or provider.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used the service, or for business losses such as lost profit, revenue or business opportunities arising from personal use of Skeet Spot.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights or remedies, including any applicable right relating to our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. Any limitation applies only where it is lawful, fair and reasonable.
9. Changes, applicable law and disputes
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The updated date appears above; material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. Changes do not take away rights that arose before they took effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. The courts of the Isle of Man have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory protections and any right you have to bring proceedings where you live. Contact us first if something is wrong so we can try to resolve it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
